Today’s show carried a Government health warning!
A smog alert has been issued by DEFRA (The Department for Food Agriculture and Rural Affairs) citing that a toxic fog and a cloud of dust was about to engulf parts of Britain including Essex today.
Health experts were warning people with asthma and other conditions to stay indoors and avoid exercise so I thought it would be a good idea to include the warning on the show today.
However it doesn’t seem to have happened. At least I wasn’t aware of any smog today. Were you?
Looking forward to next Wednesday’s show when as a Christmas treat my guests will be The Solo Beatles.
Playing the hits that John, Paul, George and Ringo released after they decided to Let it be, they are focused entirely on the music, and not distracted by trying to do pale imitations of scouse accents or dressing up in period costumes.
The huge wealth of material that the “Post Fab Four” produced after they parted company provides them with the material for an entertaining evening of familiar songs that are innovative, entertaining and exciting.
they include songs by Wings, The Plastic Ono Band and also The Traveling Wilburys plus one or two “Beatles” Songs
They pride themselves on rich vocal harmonies and respectful arrangements mixed with an energy and excitement these great songs deserve
Tune in from 1pm next Wednesday to hear them live on the programme.
