2015 election – Brentwood and Ongar

Eric Pickles has won a sixth consecutive election in Brentwood and Ongar for the Conservative party.

2015-04-17 13 candidates (Bob S)

Mr Pickles, who was first elected in 1992, increased his share of the vote from 56.9% to 58.8% and his majority from just under 17,000 to over 21,000.

Michael McGough came second for UKIP with 16.8%, beating Labour into third place. The Lib Dems saw their share of the vote fall from 23.4% to just 8.8%.
