Show seven: Essex Finest

Before going into xmas shows in the coming weeks this week has been purely based on the best of Essex. A lot of these are local bands and a considerable amount are peers of Finding Miranda. After a lot of research this week I settled on the following playlist…
1. Blur – Coffee and TV
2. These New Puritans – We Want War
3. The Horrors – New Ice Age
4. Ease Springs – Swayze
5. Bow Flats – I Know What I know
6. Fallen Poets –All This Time
7. McFly – Dynamite
8. The Saturdays – Beggin
9. Gorillaz – White Flag
10. The Jetsons Theme Tune
11. Boxer Rebellion – Spitting Fire
12. Amy Sergeant – Uneven Ground
13. Klair Quest – Lie A Little
14. Turtle Soup – Robin
15. The Defaults – Eventually
16. The Kazans – One Winner
17. Pixie Lott – Dedication To My Ex
18. Interpol – Evil
19. BreakForCover – Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll
20. C2J – Going Nowhere
21. Roisin O’Hagan – Dark Dark Lie
22. Jessie J – Domino
23. The Fancy Dress Party – Fall Into Day
24. Finding Miranda – Every Bit of Abuse
25. Prodigy – Breathe
26. Galug Vakation – Days of Her Life
27. Breaking Illusion – Shatter Control
28. Fleet Foxes – White Winter Hymnal
29. The Las – Feelin
Picking songs from Essex was harder than I thought. It was lucky I had lots of local music to play, and it is good that I had a lot of variety of music to play on this show in particular. From the country of Roisin O’Hagan, to the indie of The Kazans to the rock of Breaking Illusion.
Next week is the most exciting yet, we have three great local acts to come in and play some xmas covers… take the to stage Amy Westney, Amy Sergeant and Roisin O’Hagan.
