Council update: WHW, Crossrail, elections and trouble in the chamber!

Paul Golder attended the weekly press briefing at the Town Hall this morning where Leader of the Council, Cllr Barry Aspinell, and Cllr Phil Baker, Brentwood First councillor for Shenfield, spoke about the Council’s current plans, including:

– progress on the William Hunter Way project
– “All Out” elections
– angry scenes in the Council Chamber
– Warley Training Centre
– The Crossrail report
– cooperation with Basildon Borough Council

The consultation on Park and Stride is also now on line and can be found here.
