First up tonight, I chatted to Shaun Lee from Mad-Hat Promotions, who have recently been hosting a Battle of the Bands event at the White Horse, Chadwell Heath. They’re hosting the grand final this Sunday (25th), with J Romero, Dead Foxxes, State Of The Art and Loving Forty-Four all battling it out for the top honours. With cash, video and recording prizes all up for grabs, it’s set to be a great night of music with everything to play for. Next up I chatted to another good buddy of the show, James from The Ends (pictured above right). The Canvey Island foursome have just released their new single You Write the Hits (I Write the B-Sides), and next Wednesday (28th), they’ll be playing their biggest gig to date when they support The Enemy at Camden KOKO, before venturing out for two further support gigs in Birmingham and Portsmouth. With the next single already in the bag for an August release, it’s set to be a busy few months for the quartet – keep up with them on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter!
