Godspell opens at Hornchurch’s Queen’s Theatre today and last week I spoke to Sam Kordbacheh, who played the title role in The Great Gatsby, which has just ended its run at the Queen’s Theatre, and will be playing Jesus in the new play until the run comes to an end on 7 June.

Sam is an experienced actor having performed in several recent productions at the Queen’s and a number of UK tours as well. He talks about how Godspell has been brought up to date and more accessible without changing the original essence of the original story.
