Meanwhile we heard about a man in London who certainly got wild when his £2500 electric bike was stolen even though security protected. In this case, however, he got lucky when it seems the thief called him to buy a charger. Now of course this would not normally have happened and only occurred on this occasion as the bike owner ran a company selling chargers for electric bikes! We also heard about another man, arrested for shoplifting, asked police to look after his expensive new bike, which it likewise emerged, had just been stolen!
