Today saw the official opening of the Brentwood Branch of Essex Savers.net Credit Union. I popped along this morning to watch the proceedings and have a chat to those involved.

Eric Pickles, Rt Revd Stephen Cottrell, Bishop of Chelmsford, and Alison Davies

First I spoke to Alison Davies, President of Essex Savers.

I then had a chat with Jodie Simmons, who recently received help from Essex Savers to set up her new business “The Greengrocers” at Writtle Road Nursery
