Tonight was our first live session of 2014, courtesy of local threesome Loving Forty-Four (l-r Charlie, Alex, Jamie), making their third appearance on the show. Since they were last with us in May 2012, the trio took most of 2013 off to concentrate on work, studies and travelling, but returned to the local live scene in January with gigs in Chelmsford and Brentwood, with plenty more to come – they can be seen at the Essex Arms (next to Brentwood station) on March 6th, and they’ll also be playing Monto Water Rats in London on April 18th. Their first EP is still available for free download on their Bandcamp page, and you can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.
