The Stondon Singers are a mixed Chamber Choir, resident at the atmospheric Priory Church of St Laurence, Blackmore. On 12th November (next Tuesday) they will be performing their next concert “Watercolours” at St Laurence Blackmore. Warning – Tree scam
CON men have been calling saying they are from Brentwood Council or are working for the council to deal with tree trimming or tree removal. This is a scam, if the council were involved then they would contact you by letter. There have been cases of very high charges (£3,000) for bogus work. Please contact the police and council if you get a call from these people.
