Tonight I was joined in the studio by Greg and Tim from The Lites. The band (also featuring Ross on bass and Josh on drums) formed while at school and have released one EP, Ross Rock. They recently recorded a video for the EP’s lead track The Fear which can be seen here, and they’ll be playing various dates across England next month – stay tuned to the band’s Facebook and Twitter pages for dates!

I also chatted to London newcomers House Party Massacre (also known simply as HPM) on the phone. The fivesome formed at school in 2009 and have played venues across London. They are gearing up to release their second EP – the follow-up to last year’s New Breed – very soon, and can next be seen live at Denmark Street’s 12 Bar Club on May 22nd, with more dates to follow across the UK in June and July.
