Apart from playing out Friday’s Missing Andy session again, I also managed to get in a bit of the Bikini Beach Band, who I first saw live back at the Jazz Cafe in August 1995 (ouch) supporting My Life Story, and then again in 1996 and 2006 and yet again last night at Greenwoods Hotel in Stock, just down the road from Phoenix’s very hot and very ivory-y towers.

Yes, that’s the kind of thing. It does look like they’re playing in a book cupboard, doesn’t it … As for tonight’s music I didn’t play Babies though, I played these instead:
