Every now and then you come across an amazing talent and it’s so good to be able to help get it out to the wider world!
We stumbled across 18-year-old Canvey blues singer/songwriter Chloe at the recent Village Green in Southend, where she graced the Main Stage in front of a few thousand people – and we wasted no time in booking her in to Phoenix FM for a chat and a session.
Chloe talked about her life, why she chose her particular musical path and the music that influences her.
She also played two of her own compositions – Tales of York Road and Won’t Make The Same Mistake Twice, and a cover of James Carr’s 1966 track Pouring Water On A Drowning Man.
You can see and hear the whole interview and session below:
At the moment you can keep an eye on Chloe’s progress on her Facebook page and or by listening to Phoenix FM as she’s sure to be back soon!
