Tonight was a busy one then…
First up I was joined by local singer-songwriter Dave Livings. After becoming a familiar face on the pubs & clubs circuit, he’s set for a busy few weeks, beginning with the Towngate Theatre, Basildon on October 2nd (part of the Open Mic UK contest), followed by Grays Civic Hall as part of the Essex Talent 2011 Final on October 9th. Definitely a name to watch! Dave can be contacted via his Facebook page.

Then I was joined again by (l-r) Simon, Dan, Ross and Steve, aka four-fifths of popcore troopers Predicting the Fall. Since their last appearance on the show in January, they’ve recorded and released a new EP, Pull Out & Run, and had a summer of gigs and increasingly random videos posted online. The band’s next gig is at The View in Folkestone on October 25th and you can get your hands on the new EP at www.predictingthefall.com.
