Playlist – 13 November, a lazy Sunday afternoon with Senor Coconut

I wasn’t on air on Thursday because I was out enjoying myself (tsk), watching Marc Almond live at the Cliffs Pavilion in Westcliff. Great show, still sounded amazing after all these years, and I sat down for two hours without fidgeting which is pretty much unheard of.

Taking over the Sunday afternoon 4pm-6pm slot for one week did allow me to play some more chilled out stuff, including Senor Coconut’s fantastic Latin cover of Daft Punk’s Around The World, which was released two years ago – how did I miss this one first time round?

Today’s playlist:

Republica – Ready To Go
Divine Comedy – Something For The Weekend
Emilíana Torrini – To Be Free
Lemonheads – It’s A Shame About Ray
Kate Bush – Love and Anger
B-52’s – Roam
Fiona Bevan – Moths (Phoenix FM session, 27-05-2010)
Gorillaz – Clint Eastwood
World Of Twist – She’s A Rainbow
Hafdis Huld – Diamonds On My Belly
Travis – Writing To Reach You
I Am Kloot – Fingertips
Marc Almond – Jacky
Junior Senior – Move Your Feet
Scarlet – Independent Love Song
New Order – World (The Price Of Love)
Ooberman – Bluebell Morning
Peter Gabriel – No Self Control
Pulp – Lipgloss
Senor Coconut – Around The World
Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain – Miss Dy-na-mi-tee
Y Niwl – Undegpedwar
Radiohead – Paranoid Android
Air – Sexy Boy
Rose Elinor Dougall – Carry On
Cerys Matthews – Arlington Way
Supergrass – Mary
