Last June, when I was sitting in for MICHELLE WARD, I got to meet up with Chris Howard and Colin Batters, who are 2 members of South London based band, THE CROCKED MONSIEURS. At that time they had just released their song HOME SWEET HOME in aid of the charity REFUGE. Well just last Monday their latest song SOMEBODY’S FOOL was released – a song we’ve been playing regularly on Phoenix. So it was in light of this new release that I was delighted that the boys were able to come back and see us today. In a totally different vain we heard all about the American woman who alerted the police to her planned sale of drugs, with the inevitable result and of another woman fined for being drunk in charge of a mobility scooter!
