Extra Celeb Gossip This Week!

In The Mix was extended by an hour this week starting at 1pm instead of 2pm. This meant there was an extra hour for more celebrity gossip which an be read below…

Justin’s Tattoo
Back in May, Justin Bieber and dad Jeremy, got matching tattoo’s on the left hand side of their torso’s. The tattoo was of the word ‘Yeshua’ which is Hebrew for Jesus. They got them done in Israel and there has been a couple of pictures recently  released of the pop sensation in the tattooist chair, and Justin and Jeremy showing of their new additions.
Justin admitted his faith in past interviews and has shared his opinions on abortions and homosexuality. He also believes and has said that Jesus is the reason he is here.

Lisa Kudrow
Lisa Kudrow, most famously known for playing Phobe Buffay in popular sitcom ‘Friends’, has said Phoebe has inspired her and she is very grateful.  Even though they have nothing in common Lisa has explained “Thanks to Phoebe, I don’t have to worry – I can have fun. Phoebe was very far from who I was as a person. But part of her definitely rubbed off on me, inspired me to be more optimistic.”

In Lisa’s next acting role she plays someone completely different to Phoebe and herself. Her next character, called Fiona Wallice in TV Show ‘Web Therapy’, is a  counsellor who treats her patients badly.

Talking about her new character Lisa has said “This type of character is certainly a risk but I can’t help it. There’s just something about not doing what the audience expects of you. People who think they’re pulling something off when the rest of the world can see right through them have always struck me as funny. They make me laugh a lot.”

N-dubz
At the moment hip-hop band N-dubz are taking a break from being in a band to concentrate on solo careers. Dappy has a new single called ‘No regrets’, Tulisa is one of the new judges on this series of X-Factor and Frazer has a new album coming up. Despite the fact they all have their own separate careers, Frazer has said they are not splitting up, he explained “We have a new single coming out in November and are thinking about repacking theLove.Live.Life album or doing a Best Of.”

“We’ll be performing on The X Factor and joining Tulisa at Judges’ Houses.”

Frazer  has revealed that his plans involve working with singers such as Katy Perry, Chris Brown and Rihanna.
His new album is said to be the British version of Timbaland’s Shock Value. Frazer explains “My album is going to do what Timbaland did. I’m in the studio this week with Katy Perry and there’s a couple of mega-stars coming up, too.”

He will meet up with Chris Brown and Rihanna after their appearances at the V Festival, as they “have business to discuss”.
He lastly added: “Everything that leaves my studio I am confident is good enough to hit radio.”

Amy Winehouse
Sadly last Saturday talented singer Amy Winehouse passed away in her London Flat.

Her funeral took place on Tuesday for Amy’s family and close friends.
Amy’s dad Mitch wanted to celebrate her life and did this by making a 20mintue speech which didn’t only have tears and prayers but also had a few jokes in their too. He then ended his speech by saying “Goodnight my Angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much.”
Celebrity guest who attended the funeral included Mark Ronson and Kelly Osbourne who wore her hair in a beehive in tribute. And she also tributed online, on twitter by tweeting “I can’t even breathe right now I’m crying so hard, I just lost one of my best friends. I love you forever Amy and will never forget the real you.” She later posted a picture of from 2007 of herself with Amy with the words, “I miss my friend”.

Lots of other stars have been tweeting many tributes too including  Clarkson, Russell Brand, Katy Perry, Ellie Golding, and many many more.
Mark Ronson paid tribute during his first gig since the singer’s death by playing a cover of ‘Valerie’, ‘Back to Black’ and he also put ‘Rehab’ into his DJ set.
He said “It’s really lovely getting to play some music here for you tonight,” and when talking about Amy he also said “She made brilliant music, more than I’ll make in my entire life,”.

Also this week Amy’s father gave away her clothes to fans who camped outside her north London home. As he gave out Amy’s clothes Mitch said: “There are Amy’s t-shirts. This is what she would have wanted – for her fans to have her clothes.”

RIP Amy, our thoughts are with Amy’s family and friends.

Film Mistakes
A new film website www.moviemistakes.com has found the top ten mistake-ridden films. And there is more than just one mistake in each. Below you can find the order of the films with the most mistakes and some examples…

R&B singer Rihanna is set to star in a film based on the popular boardgame called ‘Battleship’.
The film will have the same name as the game and Rihanna will an FBI agent who helps the Navy defeat aliens at sea.

Some fans may be a bit unsure about this action role as recently Rihanna’s music video ‘Man Down’ has caused controversy as it shows her old firing a gun at a man’s head and then fleeing the scene, leaving him dying in pool of blood at a busy train station .

Battleship will be realised in 2012.

Chris Evans
Actor Chris Evans has played many different appealing characters such as Jonny storm in ‘Fantastic Four’, Jake Wyler in ‘Not another Teen Movie’, and Most Recently Captain America, in Captain America: The First Avenger. However the 30 year old has recently revealed he can’t get used to being seen as a heartthrob.

He has said “I don’t consider myself that way. Many actors are saddled with raging insecurity and I am no exception. I’m drowning in it.”
He is also struggling to feel like a ‘sex symbol’ when compared to some of the actors in one of his next movies, The Avengers, he explains “It’s tough to feel [like a sex symbol] standing next to Robert Downey Jr and Chris Hemsworth, but I’m fine with it,”

He also explains how start struck he was “Seeing the Iron Man suit, because I love the Iron Man movies, was so cool,”

“And Hemsworth – have you seen him? He’s huge! He puts the cape on and the wig and its like, ‘Jeez!’ The guy’s the god of Thunder.”

Chris has also praised his co stars by saying  “Hemsworth and I are definitely in uncharted waters, but it’s great that we have one another,”  “I can’t say enough about Downey. He’s been so great. He’s so positive and so available, and I didn’t know what to expect. He’s so experienced.”

A new film website www.moviemistakes.com has found the top ten mistake-ridden films. And there is more than just one mistake in each. Below you can find the order of the films with the most mistakes and some examples…

10. ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl’ – 245 mistakes including a crew member in modern clothes – a white t-shirt and a cowboy hat – is spotted in the background, just standing on the ship.
9. ‘Scary Movie 3’ – 255 mistakes
8. ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers’ – 257 mistakes
7. ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring’ – 262 mistakes

Rihanna’s film
R&B singer Rihanna is set to star in a film based on the popular boardgame called ‘Battleship’.
The film will have the same name as the game and Rihanna will an FBI agent who helps the Navy defeat aliens at sea.

Some fans may be a bit unsure about this action role as recently Rihanna’s music video ‘Man Down’ has caused controversy as it shows her old firing a gun at a man’s head and then fleeing the scene, leaving him dying in pool of blood at a busy train station .

Battleship will be realised in 2012.

Chris Evans
Actor Chris Evans has played many different appealing characters such as Jonny storm in ‘Fantastic Four’, Jake Wyler in ‘Not another Teen Movie’, and Most Recently Captain America, in Captain America: The First Avenger. However the 30 year old has recently revealed he can’t get used to being seen as a heartthrob.

He has said “I don’t consider myself that way. Many actors are saddled with raging insecurity and I am no exception. I’m drowning in it.”
He is also struggling to feel like a ‘sex symbol’ when compared to some of the actors in one of his next movies, The Avengers, he explains “It’s tough to feel [like a sex symbol] standing next to Robert Downey Jr and Chris Hemsworth, but I’m fine with it,”

He also explains how start struck he was “Seeing the Iron Man suit, because I love the Iron Man movies, was so cool,”

“And Hemsworth – have you seen him? He’s huge! He puts the cape on and the wig and its like, ‘Jeez!’ The guy’s the god of Thunder.”

Chris has also praised his co stars by saying  “Hemsworth and I are definitely in uncharted waters, but it’s great that we have one another,”  “I can’t say enough about Downey. He’s been so great. He’s so positive and so available, and I didn’t know what to expect. He’s so experienced.”
