“Fluffy” – The Prodigal cat of Canewdon

The story we heard from Margaret Mills today involved a cat which went missing in Canewdon during the war.

It seems that the cat took up residence at a radar station, where presumably the food was better than the fayre provided at home.

Once the military cleared out at the end of hostilities, the cat returned to its rightful home.
