This September sees the seventh annual return of Frankie’s Classic Car and Bike Festival in Essex.

Saint Francis Hospice is inviting car enthusiasts and families to come along and feast their eyes on a range of classic motors, dance away to live music and rummage through vintage stalls on Sunday, September 2nd at Ford’s Dunton Technical Centre in Laindon.

On display will be a range of vehicles from a 1935 Austin to a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro. It will also feature a show by the Mustang Owners club, and there will be lots of family-friendly entertainment to keep the kids busy!

“This is a great event for all of the family, not just the petrol heads!” said Alan Mason, Volunteer Organiser of the classic car show at the Hospice in Havering-atte-Bower. “There is so much to see and do throughout the day – people can come and look at the fantastic cars and bikes, but also enjoy the live music and the vintage market.

“All of this will raise money for such a worthwhile local cause, which is supported by many of the owners.”

Every year the show is a great success and has raised over £100,000 towards the Hospice’s specialist end of life care.

The event runs from 10am to 4pm. Entry costs £5 per adult with under 12s going free. Please note that no dogs are allowed on-site other than assistance dogs.
