Today we heard all about the Yorkshire man who tried to have his girlfriend and her cat arrested after the cat ate his bacon. Surprisingly the police showed no signs of being willing to proceed. Perhaps he might have had more success had he pursued the case using the Human Rights Act. After all his human right to eat bacon had been wantonly abused by the cat.

Meanwhile from Florida comes news of the couple arrested for selling golden tickets to Heaven. At $99.99 a throw it seems that the couple had successfully sold over $10,000 worth of tickets to gullible punters, wanting to save their bacon, before they were eventually stopped.
