Hashtag United Women have one of the biggest games in their short history tomorrow as they take on Newcastle United at Kenilworth Road in the FAWNL Cup.

The Tags sit in second place in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division and are five points off of table-topping Portsmouth.

Newcastle are also in the third tier of women’s football and are occupants of the FAWNL Northern Premier Division. They are flying high in their division, after turning professional at the end of last season, and sit top and 12 points ahead of Nottingham Forest in second place.

Hashtag progressed to this stage following a 2-0 win over Halifax while Becky Langley’s side made it to the final having beaten Portsmouth 2-1 at St. James Park.

The game kicks-off at 2:30pm and is being broadcast on BBC iPlayer and the FA Player.
