A message from Dave, volunteer at Brentwood Foodbank:
Your kindness and your generosity is allowing us to help over 200 local people every week who otherwise would go hungry.
It’s not uncommon to have a mother come in who hasn’t eaten for days so that their child could. Sadly the number of people who come to us shows no sign of slowing down.
At Brentwood Foodbank we don’t just give out food – we have the assistance of other agencies like C.A.P Christians against Poverty who can help with managing debt.
Peabody also runs a clinic alongside us on each Wednesday helping with housing and benefit difficulties.
We hope and pray that you will be able continue with your kind donations, we appreciate every donation, large or small. They make such a difference to so many lives.
With Kind Regards
Dave (Foodbank volunteer)
