June update

Dave Woskett, Brentwood Foodbank volunteer provides us with this update:

Good afternoon to all of our kind supporters.  We hope that you are all keeping well.

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your continuing support, we wouldn’t be able to feed so many local people without you. Sadly last week we had our second busiest day ever, feeding 139 people in one session. The demand for our help is still unfortunately continuing to grow. Because of this demand we are once again asking for your help, and we hope and pray that you will be able to continue with your kind support.

On the 1st of June we are having a food drive outside of the sainsbury store in Brentwood, we are desperately hoping that this will help to build up our diminishing stock.  We would like to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for all that you do to help the community through the Foodbank.

Kind regards

Dave (Foodbank volunteer)
