An outing to Kelvedon Hall with Margaret Mills

After last week’s outing to Warley Barracks, this week Margaret decided to take us on a trip to Kelvedon Hall.

During Tudor times and later, the house was owned by 13 generations of a single family – John Wright. Later during the 1930’s it was owned by Southend West’s MP, Henry “Chips” Channon, who had been married to the heiress of the Guinness brewing company.

If you missed what Margaret told me you can catch it all again here: –

I very much hope to see you again next week,
