Snooker: Extra Tickets Released For BetVictor English Open In Brentwood

Following high demand for tickets to certain days of next month’s BetVictor English Open, extra seats have been released for the tournament at the Brentwood Centre.

The sport’s biggest stars are due to compete in the first ever ranking event at the Essex venue, with the likes of World Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Selby, John Higgins, Mark Allen and defending champion Neil Robertson in the line up.

Fans have snapped up tickets for the opening day on Monday December 12 – when all of the top 16 will be in action – as well as the semi-finals on Saturday December 17 and the final on Sunday December 18. In response, WST has made extra tickets available.

In all there will be over 80 players at the venue, all competing for the Steve Davis Trophy. Tickets start at just £10 but fans must book quickly. For details visit www.wst.tv/tickets

A spokesman for WST said: “We are delighted to see tickets already close to sell-out for three of the seven days in Brentwood. We have made a limited number of extra seats available, but they are expected to sell out fast.

“This is an incredible chance for fans in Essex to see so many of the greatest players of all time, competing for a prestigious title. The atmosphere at the Brentwood Centre is going to be sensational.”

Part of the BetVictor Home Nations Series, the event will be televised by Eurosport and a range of other broadcasters worldwide.
