Being a Tuesday, Margaret Mills returned with a tale about a Methodist Minister from Rayleigh and a suffragette – and no it’s not a saucy story.

An almost impossible idea given that the minister involved rejoiced in the name of, Nehemiah Curnoch and the suffragette involved was actually his daughter, Ruth, who it was rumoured was responsible for throwing a brick through the window of the Post Office in Rayleigh.
