Well now comes news of a man who thought he’d bought a toy inflatable Grinch for his 7-year old daughter, only to discover that when inflated it stood at an impressive 35 feet – higher than his house!
Undaunted by events, Ray Liddell from Hartlepool, has placed the item in the front garden inviting visitors to donate cash for charity.
So far his initiative has raised over £20k for the local Alice House Hospice where his father died of Covid earlier this year.
