Everything’s gone to pot!

Welcome to Christmas week!

We started today by looking at a couple of guys who may be staring at a somewhat uncertain start to the new year.

After stopping a Mercedes in Sunderland, police officers became suspicious after noticing a strong smell of cannabis.

Neither of the occupants of the car could speak English but when one of them opened his phone to use Google translate, he made the mistake of showing a video of a significant cannabis farm!

The suspect was not quick enough to close and lock his phone resulting in the pair spending the night in a police cell whilst officers carried out further enquiries which lead them to an address in a nearby village where they found a sophisticated cannabis farm operation.

The two men aged 22 and 38 have been bailed to appear in court.

Perhaps they would be wise to start by learning English!

Now amazingly a staggering 12 million people in the UK fall victim to theft of parcel deliveries left on the door step.

Clearly this is not a problem unique to the UK and after losing numerous items from outside her house over the past 3 years, Canadian Laura Pringle took matters into her own hands.

Apparently Laura always leaves instructions for drivers to ring the video doorbell, but a couple of couriers never read the label.

Laura therefore decided to get her own back by filling an empty cardboard box with the contents of her cat’s litter tray. Nice!

Incredibly the parcel was pinched just 40 minutes later, the culprit being filmed by her RING doorbell.

That’s a “dung” deal then!

I’ll see you again tomorrow,
Scott
