Having stepped down from regular presenting it was great to make a brief return to Phoenix while Nadia took a break.

As well as a stack of feel-good music to complement a beautiful sunny autumn morning – including songs from Avicii, ELO, Years and Years and Cliff Richard – I had the pleasure of chatting with an amazingly talented artist and creative photographer from Chelmsford whose work was this week commended by the renowned portrait photographer Rankin.

Despite not picking up a camera until she was in her 30s Tracy Vine’s photo depicting miniature figures at an art gallery beat tens of thousands of entries to be featured in Rankin’s 2020 Sky Arts TV series which ran alongside his project to capture various aspects of life during this extraordinary year.

In essence Tracy’s is a story of pursuing a longstanding dream – through hard work and sacrifice – and one which I hope will inspire others.
