I was honoured to once again find myself deputising for the one and only MICHELLE WARD today.

I have to say I really enjoyed myself playing some cracking songs and we also took time out to look at some classic odd-ball stories.

First out of the pot came the tale of the man from Manchester who left his rucksack full of drugs on a tram in Manchester – and it gets better as he’d helpfully left details of his full name and address!

Then came the news of the man who’s flying instructor passed out during his first lesson. That would tend to concentrate the mind!

And finally we heard all about the man in China who sued his wife after she gave birth to a truly ugly baby. Amazing – but true!
