Today we heard about the pensioners, somewhat the worse for wear having to be helped into their home by police only to find themselves in a real heap of trouble.
After concerned neighbours called police to help a 69-year old man and 65-year old woman into their house, officers noted the distinct aroma of weed, and it was clear from the strength of the smell that this was not just caused by someone having a crafty puff.
Subsequent investigation revealed a large stash of 54 plants and growing equipment stashed in the loft.
Oops!
The couple are now under arrest.
