However Harry Groves (2) and Paul Wines scored the goals that now see their team in the other promotion spot, four points better off than third-placed Academy Soccer who also won on Saturday, brushing Old Chelmsfordians Res. aside with a 9-1 victory. Luis Ruiz and Alfie Sayers both scored hat-tricks, Jake Jones added a further two with Luke Jones and Jack Shaw also getting a goal apiece. Luke Anderson supplied the consolation goal that prevented a total whitewash. Leigh Town were in a commanding position against White Ensign Res. as goals from Rhys Mosedale, Harry Payne and George Darby placed them in a 3-0 lead.
