It was my great pleasure to chat to a man who has been described as “A Musical Mastermind” and “The Man With The Golden Voice”
In his usual modest way Paul Carrack was a little phased by these descriptions, but with a career in music spanning more than 45 years, success with many world famous bands and a successful solo career Paul’s modesty isn’t justified at all.
Paul Carrack talks about his life, his music, and touring with Eric Clapton, Roger Waters and Ringo Starr.
You can listen to the interview along with some of Paul’s classic songs and a couple of tracks from the new album “These Days” here –
“These Days” is released on 7th September on his own record label, Carrack-UK through Proper Records and is available from all the usual outlets.
Paul Carrack’s latest UK tour starts on 18th January next year in Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall, and ends on 24th March at The Lowry in Salford. On 1st March Paul will be in our patch at The Cliffs Pavillion in Southend and the following day will be performing at The London Palladium.
