On today’s Drive show, we saw the return of gadget-guru and all-round smarty-pants, Pete Sipple, who explains why a green padlock on the address bar of your web browser is a good thing – not just for you but also as a website owner.

That little padlock signifies an encrypted link between you and the web-site you’re using – Essential if you are handing over payment details and other personal information.  From a site owner’s perspective, you’ll find that having an “HTTPS” website will significantly help with SEO (search engine optimization) as well as give assurance to the end-user.
