Sunday Service 14th Jan 2018

A bit of a mixed bag on today’s show: Fraggle Rock, a scary night owl, snow being an inconvenience plus songs that sound like other songs…

First, I spoke about an owl that was outside my window the other night – and proceeded to do an impression of it!

Snow (and Christmas) just a major pain-in-the-bum, innit? When you are a kid or have kids, it’s great – but for a single guy with a car and places to go, people to see, it’s just a big bundle of “meh”. Valentine’s Day and Easter Eggs feature.

I noticed that Haim’s “The Wire” sounded like an old Eagles song…

Have you heard the “oh, oh, oh” that Graham Norton makes when he introduces a guest? I think I’ve found where the idea came from…

Paolo Nutini’s “Pencil Full of Lead” sounds like Jackie Wilson’s “Reet Petite”…

Finally, in an attempt to cheer everyone up, I tried to put a smile on people’s face by playing a classic TV theme…

There’s more shenanigans next Sunday from 10am…
