Voulez-vous?

On the show this week we contemplated which things we might have to give up should England lose to Sweden in the FIFA World Cup quarter finals… Such as Ikea and ABBA.

As well as the usual Entertainment news and loads of news from the local area we welcomed back Keith Miller, from Billericay Choral Society, to fill us in on their latest creation – Americana.

You can listen back to my interview with Keith here:

Americana is on Saturday 21st July at Billericay United Reformed Church, on Chapel Street. Tickets cost £10.00 and you can get them from Brown Sugar/ Slipped Discs on the High Street, or by phoning Chris Kempson on 01277 656443. Or you can email dougnewlyn@tiscali.co.uk.

About Naomi Sayers

A recent immigrant to Essex, I was born and raised in West Sussex. I got into radio at university, where in my final year I presented three shows a week on the student station. After graduating I worked as a broadcast journalist in Scotland but then moved back to London to the call of a corporate career and couldn't find a radio station that would have me! That all changed when I moved to Billericay in March 2017. I took over presenting Feelgood Saturday a couple of months later and I haven't looked back since. I try and make it 120 minutes of positivity each week – it certainly cheers me up on a Saturday morning anyway!
