Is this airline food fit only for high flyers?

We’ve recently seen and read stories about people being dragged kicking and screaming – or maybe unconscious, from their aircraft seats.

But with news of  the fine dining fare offered by one national carrier I imagine you might actually welcome being dragged off the plane.

Although seeking to increase rates of tourism to their country from the current annual level of 100,000 to 2 million by 2020 it seems that the national flag carrier for North Korea – Air Koryo, might want to up its game when it comes to on board dining.

Apparently the one and only repast on offer is the KORYU BURGER.

Koryo Burger

This delicacy is always served stone cold on a paper doily and consists of a somewhat unappetising bun containing a few shreds of cabbage, a piece of rubbery-looking cheese and a piece of unidentifiable meat which seemingly defies all attempts to chew it – always assuming, of course that you are brave enough to try.

It turns out the Koryo burger practically has its own cult following, famed for being so inedible, no one has ever been recorded as having finished theirs.
