Hotfoot from joining the Phoenix FM Morris Dancing formation team performing in the car park, here I am again slogging away in the studio on another Bank Holiday!
We heard today about the great deal offered by GWR.
Between the 22nd May and 14th July, and providing that you didn’t travel via Bristol, they were offering a single first class ticket for the 64-mile journey between Taunton and Trowbridge for the never to be repeated price of just £10,000.
The normal fare is £12:70 so it is easy to understand why this once in a lifetime deal has now been withdrawn.
We also heard about the gun toting cat reportedly terrorising the residents of Newport in Oregon.
A member of the public alerted police, backed up by photographic evidence which you can see here:
The local police department later confirmed that the cat was given a verbal warning for posing with what could be mistaken as an assault rifle whilst wearing poor camouflage attire.
It seems that the cat may have escaped being shot by police by a whisker!
See you again tomorrow,
Scott
