I’ve really enjoyed my time at Phoenix FM. I was really lucky to work with a range of presenters during my work experience and I found it so useful and really interesting as I saw how each presenter put their own spin on their individual shows.

All of the presenters were so helpful and friendly and many let me try out presenting features on their shows from the events guide to showbiz news to traffic, I was even lucky enough to have my very own 20 minute Courtney-Lee takeover during one show where I took over the airwaves to play my favourite songs all by myself. I’d really like to thank every presenter I worked with but an extra special thank you goes to Bob Simpson who had so much faith in me that he let me ‘fly solo’ lol.

I’d recommend Phoenix to anyone looking for work experience as its a friendly atmosphere and so interesting to learn about such a great form of art. I really hope to work with Phoenix FM again in the future
