Sad news from Saint Francis Hospice as they report the theft of one of their vans.
sfh.org.uk reports:
The 3.5 tonne Ford Transit Luton Van was stolen from the driveway of the driver of the van, who is a member of staff and lives in Cranham. The vans are used to collect donated items that we then sell in our shops, as well as the delivery of large and bulky items to our customers. We also use them for house clearances.
The van is white with the Saint Francis Hospice logo and orange text painted on the sides of the vehicle. The registration number is NU62 KCA. It is our newest van, purchased in October and worth approximately £16,000. There was nothing inside the van.
The police have been informed and are investigating.
Pam Court, chief executive at Saint Francis Hospice, said: “We’d be hugely grateful for any information on this theft. Our vans are key to us raising the funds we need for hospice care, so this has been a terrible start to the New Year.”
