We are pleased to introduce to you the winner of Miss Plus Size United Kingdom 2015, the beautiful
Jodie Folley. Miss Plus Size United Kingdom is a groundbreaking plus size beauty pageant open to big,
beautiful women with the aim of promoting body confidence and inspiring women across the UK.
Jodie is an aspiring plus size model and activist, and has a truly inspiring story which will undoubtedly
touch hearts across the nation. After a difficult childhood and spending her adult life looking after her
young family and caring for her husband, Jodie decided it was time to do something just for herself to
help gain confidence and make new friends.
Jodie applied for the pageant not knowing what the future would hold, but was amazed to be shortlisted
and called back to appear in the Grand Final 2015 and then go on to win the title. Since then, she has
transformed into a confident, inspiring plus size model and beauty queen, and has appeared in multiple
editorial plus size magazine shoots, catwalk shows, and modelled for recognisable brands such as Simply
Be, Yours Clothing, Gemma Collins, Enjeanious by Rean, Elvi, Curvissa and more.
Jodie is proof that you can be beautiful, confident and empowered at any size, and if you believe in
yourself, anything is possible. We would love to spread that message, and Jodie is now available
for modelling work, interviews and press and personal appearances.
