Back to being a kid, maybe!

151008_EM_ManSellingLeavesDo you remember the days when you used to be hanging by an arm each between Mum and Dad kicking the autumn leaves around? Well as some parts of the USA don’t experience the autumn leaves as such, we heard today about the enterprising man who delivers autumn to people living in those areas. Yes for about £13 he will box up and despatch a load of New England fallen leaves. Amazingly he has already hit over 200 sales to date. And after autumn comes winter and last year he supplied clients across the States with around 720 lbs. of snow. I wonder if he’ll keep this year’s prices frozen.

Keeping to the theme of childhood, I guess many of us have memories of either being taken to, or taking our own children or grandchildren, to soft play areas in shopping centres, theme parks or stand-alone outlets. All good clean, safe fun. Well it is safe so long as the parents keep order – their own that is, not the kids. Unfortunately during a children’s party being held at one such emporium in Russia things went terribly wrong when an argument broke out between parents over disciplining a child. It seems that things started innocently enough when one of the mothers complained to another about her child’s behaviour.

Brawl

From this point events took on a momentum of their own and before long a major brawl erupted between the mothers with the women throwing violent punches, kicks and pulling each other’s hair whilst their kids looked on horrified. Eventually security guards were forced to intervene and brought the birthday party to a tumultuous conclusion. By the time police arrived most of the mums had grabbed their kids and fled.

Well that’s a great example, I must say!

See you again tomorrow,
Scott
