On today’s show I was joined by STEVE ROBERTS, a man who spent 30 years on the front line with the Metropolitan Police so who better to tell us what life is really like dealing with everything from street riots to facing and chasing criminals on the streets of London?

And with last week’s announcement by the government that the terror threat had been increased to SEVERE we could all now find ourselves in the front line. I therefore thought we could learn a thing or two from the Chinese who have have advised citizens in one part of their country to combat suspected terrorists by giving them a stern look. So perhaps we had all better start practicing!
