What Christmas means to me – Boxing day 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

On Boxing Day from 10 a.m. I presenting a three hour show called ‘What Christmas means to me’. This was a selection of Christmas music that is secular and sacred. We had  Away in a manger, Peace Child and two other carols from the children at Ingatestone and Fryerning C of E. Junior School recorded for the show. We also hear fifteen interviews with the children Ben Price from year 6 at the school joined me for the first hour. Tim Lee from Brentwood Churches Together was with me from 11-11.30.  A favourite item was O Holy Night recoded by the Anglo European school chamber choir at Ingatestone Parish Church. The rest of the show was Christmas favourites like “Rocking around the Christmas tree” and ”I wish it could be Christmas every day’ as well as some more unusual Christmas items from Annie Lennox, Elvis Presley and others. The chatroom was busy and the conversations included recipes for turkey left-overs.
