It’s not just the weather that is cold this week, so are the celebs!

Boy Band Causing Blues

Boy band Blue, has caused a few people to feel a bit frosty this week by appearing on the TV show The Big Reunion. Members from other bands that have taken part including Atomic Kitten and B*Witched wasn’t too happy when producers  added the boys to the show.
Member Simon Webbe had stated that “Obviously a new band being introduced into the bill will cause disruption.” And he wasn’t wrong as Edele from girl band B*Witched explained that she felt “like [they’ve] had blood sweat and tears and to get a band that aren’t reuniting, they’re still together. [she] doesn’t get it”.
And she may be right as though Blue haven’t released an album in the UK since 2003’s Guilty, they have been reunited since 2011’s Eurovision Song Contest and released new album Roulette in Germany last month which will also be released here in the UK on 29th April, a week after their single Hurt Lovers.
Being part of the show has helped their chart performances as their greatest hits album ‘The Best of Blue’ have reached the top ten this week in the UK Itunes album chart.

Life Got Cold for Sarah!

Have you ever been doing a presentation or play and have forgotten your lines? It does happen to all of us and that doesn’t rule out celebrities. Cheryl Cole had to step in when band member Sarah Harding forgot one of her lines during her solo part of the song ‘Life got Cold’ during a Girls Allowed concert at the SSEC arena in Glasgow. Apparently her mind was pre occupied by the fact that her dog, called Yogi, wouldn’t be joining her on the rest of the tour like she had planned. She was told just before going on stage that Yogi had not been granted a passport a s source explained saying “A recent statutory change meant the paperwork wasn’t approved because Yogi wouldn’t be spending sufficient time in the country.”
The source continued to describe Sarah’s feelings saying “Sarah was devastated. She was so preoccupied with thoughts of Yogi and being without him, she forgot a few lyrics. Obviously Sarah does know the words and was mortified.”

Who’s joining Eminem and Biffy?

Confirmation of who will be headlining the Reading Festival, taking place on the 23rd to 25th of August has been revealed this week. Eminem and Biffy Clyro have already been announced as head liners but now Green Day have also said they will be joining them. Other acts performing over the weekend include Chase & Status Nine Inch Nails, Editors, Phoenix, White Lies, Frank Turner plus many more.

Perry tells her story

Katy Perry  has signed a 2 million pound autobiography deal this week.
It is going to be called Part of Me, like her song and concert was, and the book will cover every aspect of her life including her marriage and divorce to comedian Russell Brand and also about her new relationship with singer John Mayer.
A source explained why Katy decided to do the autobiography  now, saying : “Several publishers have been after Katy for a while…She decided to go ahead so fans don’t have a one-sided story when Russell publishes another Booky Wook.”
