Well that went quickly! I so enjoyed my first edition of the new show that it felt like it was over before I had got started!
Helping me along the way (including making me a nice cup of coffee!) was my first ever guest on the show – Tina Tickner – CEO of Brentwood Community Transport.
Thank you Tina for the coffee and for being such a pleasant guest. You can hear our chat again here –

We heard the usual mix of great Phoenix FM music including a tribute to the late Reg Presley of the Troggs. There will be more of this in my Sunday show Sunday Replay this week at 2pm in our 3@3 feature. Along with entertainment news, Local news, Travel and Local Events this made up what I hope was an entertaining fast paced show. It certainly seemed to go quickly to me.
One item was about stupid calls to the 999 emergency services – This is a genuine 999 call –
[audio:https://www.phoenixfm.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Police-True-999-Emergency-Call-_Snowmans-been-stolen_.mp3|titles=Police – True 999-Emergency Call – _Snowman’s been stolen_]Please don’t waste the time of our over stretched emergency services!
Oh yes and something free –
Shoppers will be able to park in a multi-storey car park in Brentwood for free on Saturday.
Brentwood Council is providing the free spaces at Coptfold Road all day in a bid to help customers looking for presents before Valentine’s Day.
Back for another One 2 Three tomorrow – Byeeee!
