I had the pleasure of being joined by Ingatestone posties Steve Biggs and Dennis Sweeting. They are driving a seven and a half ton truck as part of a convoy to take aid to Kosovo. We talked about the charity – Hope And Aid Direct – and about how you can be invovled and donate. The music tonight was drive time mix until 8, with more laid back music until 10. As the Stock Aiken Waterman re-union concert was cancelled, we had a block after 7 o’clock featuring artists from the 80s music factory. We also had an appreciation of the Rolling Stones, hitting an astonsihing 50 years this week. Other artists featured included Ollie Murs, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Adele, Paul McCartney, Mark Antionne, Toto, Paul Simon, Beach Boys, Lady Anrebellum, Katie Melua, Fleetwood Mac, Pet Shop Boys, Marvin Gaye, Supremes, Godley & Creme, George Michael, Caro Emerald and many more.
