I was joined in the studio tonight by local sculptor Vin Harrop. He told us about the Biilericay Arts Trail which will be happening later in the year. More info can be found on the web. The plan is to have art displayed in local shops that can be appreciated and is also available for sale. Help is still needed in many ways to help with the organisation. Local artists who either live or work in Billericay are still sort. He also told us about a gallery he is running in Basildon where thousands of people have visited since it opened last year. Requests tonight include Thriller by Michael Jackson for four year old Luka from Stock who was waving at me after watching me on the webcam. Apparently he could only go to bed after dancing around the kitchen. There were requests for Jes who wanted Rod Stewart and Michael who wanted Uptown Top Rankin by Anthea and Donna from 1978. We also had tracks tonight from Adele, Coldpay, Edwin Collins, Diana Krall, Alison Krauss and many more.
No-one guessed the classic TV theme tonight, so I might carry it forward. I will not be with you for the next two weeks. Join me again on June 8th.
