Late Night Extra Friday 4th May 2012

I came to the studio tonight straight from Neal and Emma’s wedding reception at Highlands House. I listened to Kate on before me; she was great. We had requests tonight for Fletwood Mac, Level 42, Queen, Kate Bush, Bryan Ferry and Wham, so everyone was into the 80s tonight. We heard from Phil in a wet Norfolk about the amazing season Billericay FC have had this year. Sadly I did not know how far it was to Truro and even that it was in Cornwall! We heard from Bryan about an open day at Buttsbury Church on Bank Holiday Monday. Following one of the news stories I read about someone in Essex turning their shed into a replica 1950s Post Office, lots of the chat in the chat room was about sheds. We also had music from Leona Lewis, Adele, Michael Jackson, Beach Boys, Alison Krauss and after a story about a plastic surgery degree at Anglia University, an astonishing track from Dolly Parton. Join me again next week and don’t forget you can leave requests below.
