Late Night Extra 9th of March

Tonight Lorraine in Billericay chose Robbie Williams for her DID. We were joined in the chatroom by Trucks from California who told us it was 8 hours earlier, 80 degrees and sunny. Were we jealous? Our classic TV theme was Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy as Douglas Adams would have been 60 on Sunday. Neal and Lee both recognised it very quickly. Neal in London requested the Killers, Lee had Kassbian, Michael chose ELO and Jenny wanted to hear Kate Bush.  Music also came from Joni Mitchel, Harry Chapin, Eagles, Coldplay, Jon and Vangelis, Neil Young, Will Young, Van Morrison, Canned Heat and many others. We also enjoyed Crazy by Booker T. Jones which is worth checking out. Our news stories included two about wrong spelling. One by Topshop on a TShirt and the second on the road outside a Primary School in Oxford, where school was splet schoul!. And the council refuse to change it!! If you want to take part in DID, just leave your favourite tack on this blog, a book and a luxury. Join me again next week when Late Night Extra again hits the road for two hours of good music and chat.
